FALL! It’s truly the best time of year… Summer is winding down now and we’re gearing up for amazing chilly nights, the return of pants and boots, and all things pumpkin flavored.

Every year the holidays come and go WAY too quickly. One minute it’s Halloween and before you know it, it’s New Year’s Day and the only remaining sign of the holiday season is that awesome extra layer that somehow has made itself comfortable on your hips, butt and stomach. I guess that pumpkin pie has to go somewhere. Or does it!?

By adding even just 15 minutes of exercise to your daily routine, you feel better inside and out. A proper diet and regular exercise is the best way to maintain a healthy weight, prevent disease and have more energy. Call us old fashioned, but we’re not big on diet pills or weight loss fads.

We organized this Freshen Up! challenge to promote the benefits of an all-seasons healthy, active lifestyle. At FHF, we pledge to make it through the holidays without that extra layer. Who’s with us?!


To enter the Freshen Up! challenge, simply…

1. Head to the FHF Facebook page and give us a “like.”

2. Tell your friends what you’re doing! Share our FHF Facebook page on your own personal wall and invite them to join the challenge too!

3. Let us know you’ll be joining us by commenting on the thread of the fitness challenge announcement post.


The Freshen Up! challenge is just 10 days (Sept. 18-27, 2013) and all participants will be given a daily workout to complete. We will provide beginner and intermediate exercises, so this challenge is for all people at all fitness levels. Healthy eating tips will be thrown in here and there for bonus points! (Bonus points get you extra entries in the prize raffle at the end of the challenge.)

The fitness challenges will be posted daily on our Facebook page. Once you’ve completed the challenge, simply respond in the post’s thread with “done!”

We’ll mark down who completes the challenge in full, and those who do will be entered to win some fabulous healthy living-inspired prizes!


  • Finish all 10 workouts to be entered in a raffle at the end of the challenge.
  • Earn bonus points for additional raffle entries by completing extra tasks assigned each day.
  • Don’t forget to report in every day! The workout of the day will be posted on our Facebook page, and when you’ve completed it, comment “Done!”


Everyone who does the challenge gets the prize of a healthy, stronger body!

At the end of the 10 days, those who have completed all 10 workouts will be entered to win some amazing swag. (Those who got bonus points for completing the extra tasks will be entered more times.)
